Hi Michael, it has been many years since I have bought Geese from you. I bought my first Goose and Gander off you in 1972. I also got a pair of Mallard ducks and half a dozen Old English Game Bantams. Within weeks of purchasing them, I took them to the Hawkesbury Show and won in all my classes with your first class breed of champion animals. Quite a few years later, I purchased a dozen assorted Gozlings off you which I hand reared under a light globe. Out of this batch I reared one of the biggest Ganders you had ever seen. I called him "Big Foot". He was such a magnificant Gander, whatever show I took him to he won Champion Water Fowl. Sadly, his life was cut short when he was grazing in the paddock with his family of gozlings and he was kicked by a horse. Michael Peel has been so helpful with the breeding of my Toulouse geese. I had a pair of hens I bought about 7 years ago, very good blood lines and also a gander. Unfortunately, he didn't perform and I had no results for 5 years. I got in contact with Michael and he said he would come over and have a look. He decided to lend me one of his ganders and the year before last I raised 10 goslings. Michael has instructed me on how to manage it all. This year just gone by he lent me 3 ganders and I raised 16 goslings. I put my first 2 hens and 2 of Michael's ganders in the Luddenham show last weekend, my first time showing, and got the champion birds of the show!
